Overall Satisfaction with Oracle PeopleSoft HCM
It is being used across the whole organization. We are using the entire suite of PeopleSoft HCM including position management and commitment accounting in addition to core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Employee and Manager Self Service. There are many interfaces and integrations with Oracle and other third-party systems such as Kronos, Benefitfocus, Open Tempo, and Taleo Enterprise.
Pros
- Solid payroll system
- Customization is allowed (good )
- User-friendly
- Stable product
- Customization (bad) which will be an obstacle to move to HCM cloud
Cons
- Technology update and improvement including latest technology
- Commitment and continuous support from Oracle
- UI improvement - Look and feel modern user experience
- It is doing what it is supposed to do as a solid ERP system even though there is a lack of functionality for improving overall employee/user experience.
PeopleSoft customization has created an issue for customers to move to cloud while trying to keep the functions Oracle HCM cloud might be lacking. However, due to Oracle sunsetting the Taleo performance, we have started the cloud journey with the Oracle Talent Management cloud after comparing different cloud providers such as Workday.
