Overall Satisfaction with Outreach

It is being used by our client development department as a tool to create drip campaigns for cold outreach communications. It is great for allowing us to directly sync with Salesforce and update their status based on who responded etc. It allows us to set a schedule for when they should be sent and we can set alerts for when a lead opens up an email X amount of times.

Pros

  • Sets sequences and ability to add and drop leads.
  • Sets alerts.
  • Ability to view all of teams' sequence traction to see what is working best.

Cons

  • Sometimes the status updates transferred into Salesforce are incorrect.
  • Connection to Gmail isn't the best. Would prefer for the alerts to come straight through Gmail.
  • There should be notifications if you don't designate status updates for leads in the sequences. I have sent one out and realized it and manually updated their statuses into Salesforce.

  • Faster lead conversion
Yesware's integration into Gmail was much better. Creating templates for individual emails was easier mainly because of the Gmail plugin, and alerts capabilities were nicer. Other than those which all involve the Gmail plugin I really enjoy Outreach and get much nicer integration with Salesforce.
Outreach is well suited for smaller companies to track everyone else's activity. It may be a bit more difficult for larger organizations as there is a lot going on.
