Overall Satisfaction with Outreach

We use Outreach for Outbound prospecting activities and tracking. The areas it addresses are:
- Campaigns
- Targeted messaging and outreach
- Accounts, Prospect, Contacts organization
- Activity tracking
- Visibility into prospect engagement
- Tracking of share material

Especially during campaigns it becomes useful in generating qualified leads. By tracking engagement with the emails and the material shared within them Outreach helps us focus on our outbounding efforts more efficiently.

Pros

  • Tracking
  • Campaigns
  • Lead Generation
  • Marketing
  • Event invites

Cons

  • Sequences, make it less complicated to create.
  • Tracking - more intel and data on how prospects interact with the materials and emails. It would be cool to see correlations between accounts and specific industries. What works and what doesn't. Same idea with regards to contacts.
  • An integration with marketing material data bases and repositories. The ability to add material directly.
  • More meetings booked
  • Higher engagement
  • Better organization
  • Speed of use
  • Broad reach
Simple enough to use to be deployed to all customer facing teams. There are multiple use cases it can satisfy regardless of the team role and company size. It's also able to track activity which allows teams to focus on certain areas as opposed to others. This means that scalability can be tied to clear ROI objectives.
While the tool is useful for all client facing teams, it does require a lot of work to use. SDR teams are best fitted to use the tool as this is the focus of their role. For sales teams specifically it requires too much admin work in SFDC to then integrate properly with the tool. This is a big ask for a closing team.
I have only ever used Outreach.

Do you think Outreach delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Outreach's feature set?

Yes

Did Outreach live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Outreach go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Outreach again?

Yes

Outreach is well suited for outbounding activities. I think what it does well is the ability to track how prospects engage with what we send them. However, it is difficult for a sales team to personalize the messaging. The user experience is more tailored towards SDR teams rather than Sales teams.
