Overall Satisfaction with Outreach

We use Outreach for lead generation/inside sales. It is integrated with our CRM Salesforce. Prior to using Outreach, we used to have Excel spreadsheet and no structured way of reaching out to prospects, and no analytics to understand connection rate, open rate, reply rate, which email templates work best, etc. Outreach is also great to automate email sending.

I can see this working across any business size and industries. The approach will remain the same regardless of the market, vertical, etc. Whether you're a start-up or a big Enterprise, a sales engagement platform that integrates with your CRM is a must to drive sales outcomes and accelerate revenue.
I haven't used the AI capabilities much so far. I noticed it's there for email generation but I haven't tested it.
Once you're familiar with the tool, it's fine to use. But at first it can be daunting. Having experience with other sales engagement platform, I believe that Outreach could benefit from having a more user-friendly design and structure. There might be functionalities I'm not using or leveraging at the minute because I don't know where to find them or how to use them.
I prefer Salesloft over Outreach. Even though the functionalities and features are very similar if not identical, I find Salesloft easier to navigate and understand. The analytics in Salesloft also seem more complete and visually more appealing. Salesloft's deal dashboard is also more user-friendly and seems to have a higher potential to drive actions and results.

Outreach is well suited for any companies with sales reps. It will be mainly helpful for lead generation and top-of-funnel activities. It will bring structure, consistency and better performance management. It integrates with Salesforce too, which is helpful for any companies using this CRM. It might be less appropriate for middle or bottom of the sales funnel activities.
