Overall Satisfaction with Parse.ly
It is being used across the organization and is the primary tool that we rely on to monitor content performance and to make decisions regarding both editorial direction and production. We also use it as a means of understanding how our content is socialized across channels online and where we should be promoting our stories in the future.
- Tracking time spent.
- Tracking referrals.
- Onsite navigation.
- Refining content production and identifying areas performing both efficiently and inefficiently.
Parse.ly is a lot more user-friendly and has out of the box features that are easier to onboard someone with a limited understanding of analytics solutions. It is also a lot more visual and therefore more user-friendly across organization disciplines. There is also more visibility for social referrals given the open firehose for Twitter referrals, which is something that is particularly useful when gauging for channel effectiveness.
