Overall Satisfaction with Paycom

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Paycom is being used by our whole organization to record our daily work schedule. We also can review our personal pay stubs and other employee information. Through this service we can adjust our personal tax withholdings, view our vacation, sick and personal hours/days, as well as set up or cancel direct deposit; this program allows the employee to have more control over their employee payroll records.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Paycom is user-friendly; easy to record my time.
Paycom allows mobile access so that I can log in from my cellphone.
Paycom offers a comment section in order to thoroughly record information regarding any overtime hours.

Cons

Not very clear as to why Paycom has decided to use military time for the time sheets. Perhaps that feature could be a little easier to manage.
When adding vacation or sick time, the process seems a little difficult for some who are not used to having to record their time on the computer.
The 'My Accruals' area is not understandable at all... the accrual amounts, limits and dates are very confusing, especially the amounts. Many do not understand how to calculate these numbers, and it gives too much work for the Payroll Administrator.

Likelihood to Recommend

Well Suited Scenario - When an employee leaves for vacation and forgets to record their information in Paycom, it can be done easily from their home computer or mobile device.
Less Appropriate Scenario - When an employee has to complete the pay period by approving their time sheet, it seems to be confusing with so many dates to choose from. Can it default to that last date?
