Paycor, the good and the bad
Overall Satisfaction with Paycor
We use Paycor for everyday hr needs. Employee onboarding and offboarding. Payroll for all 8 brands. Recognition programs. Payday advance with payactiv. Benefits management. Paycor streamlines a lot of processes that would be rather tedious and time consuming otherwise. As far as the software, after implementation we had no complaints.
Pros
- Payroll management is great with distribution in a timely fashion
- Our employees love the recognition program
- Syncs seamlessly with our benefits providers
Cons
- Customer service has been a huge problem for us with Paycor
- In our experience, it is very hard to get a customer service rep on the phone after hours
- I think the online chat function of the customer service is very robotic
- Sometimes we would spend way too much time on the phone with customer service only to find out that the solution was a simple fix. Time is money
- Paycor was less costly compared to other providers
- We save a lot of man hours versus when we had to manually do all the payroll by hand every 2 weeks.
Our HR and/or payroll team has saved over 50 hours per month. - Our company has been able to grow internally and create new HR roles with different responsibilities because of the man hours that we save each week because of the automation of Paycor. It genuinely is a company saver.
