Overall Satisfaction with Paycor

We use Paycor for all HR needs including payroll, benefits administration, and time and attendance. We use it daily for reporting purposes and onboarding staff.

Pros

  • Open enrollment-their software is user friendly and has good features for end users and administrators
  • Onboarding-entering new hires is easy
  • Mass Template Upload-you can easily upload mass changes, the system is easy to use.
  • Reporting-their reporting tool is improving and AI is incorporated into it.

Cons

  • Time & Attendance reporting-this can be improved by integrating the functionalities
  • Reporting-customs fields needs to be integrated since you can't run reports with these fields included
  • Manager access-having a better grasp as to what managers can view
  • Positive ease of open enrollment for employees
  • Time and Attendance needs improvement, the HR team still gets lots of questions about it
  • Efficient mass uploads-this has eased the burden of HR administrative work
The system is user friendly for the most part. Onboarding employees is pretty easy, however it needs improvement. The improvements are that it should allow you to include all the information at once. Instead you have to go back and enter the missing details. The other are that is excellent for administrators is making mass uploads. When we have to update salaries, Paycor provides easy to use templates and it takes less than 5 minutes to upload.
They are both similiar. I've used both and think the functionalities are comparable.

The Open enrollment tool is excellent. They need to improve the reporting tool and speed up the use of AI. I've seen other system demos and their integration of AI seems sophisticated in comparision to Paycor's. Paycor has integrated some AI into analytics but it lacking in terms of what it can do.
