Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use Paylocity to track time, process payroll, complete onboarding paperwork, performance reviews etc. Paylocity allows for everything to be in one place and ease of access for employees either through the app or on the website. I am a company administrator so I use all functions as both an end user and on the backend of the system.
Pros
- Information available in one area
- Visually pleasing
- Relatively easy to navigate
Cons
- Paylocity tries to stay ahead of competitors with services offered but fails to ensure services function exceptionally well
- Customer service is lacking. 'Call center' style customer service instead of dedicated rep that knows your company's system set up
- Issues take too long to resolve - often months for a resolution. Sometimes no resolution due to system limitations
- Better visibility
Paylocity helps ensure more accuracy for things such as time tracking (compared to our previous way which was on paper). It does save some time too, however, because we have had so many issues within the system, time has been spent trying to resolve problems that we didn't have with our previous vendor. We do still save some time, but it would be much more if the system functioned better.
We use community to post announcements company-wide since not all of our workforce uses their company email addresses. This helps us to connect with all employees with important information. We don't really use impressions as we have had issues with this feature. Surveys are okay, it would be nice if the visibility of who the survey was launched to was better.
