Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use a growing list of their products to handle all of our HR needs. We have been using HR & Payroll to house employee information and process payroll on a weekly basis since we started using Paylocity in 2015. Since then we have added their time tracking product called Time & Labor, their benefits administration product, their COBRA administration product, as well as their Recruiting and Onboarding products that integrate with Indeed, LinkedIn, and multiple other job boards.

Paylocity's automation tools have drastically improved our consistency and efficiency across the entire HR platform. Our employees know what to expect, when they are working, how to review their time, their previous paychecks, previous year tax documentation, enrolling in and changing benefits after a life event. All things that took time from what our HR team needed to be focusing on in growing our company and making the best place to work that we can for our employees.
The employee engagement tools is one of the products we have had trouble getting buy in from our employees. Most of that is on our internal team and not a problem with Paylocity. We are currently working on a plan to increase the engagement from our employees with each other and with the rest of our organization, through Paylocity. The great thing about it is that Paylocity gives you the tools, training, and advice on how to create engagement campaigns, but it's up to you to use them.
Quickbooks is great for all of our finance and account reporting, but when we made the change we recognized that it was lacking in a lot of the employee functions we wanted to be able to provide. We haven't looked back since starting with Paylocity over 8 years ago. We have been happy the entire way and have no intentions of making any changes.

In my opinion Paylocity is suitable for any organization. Where it really starts to help is when you get to a size of 20+ employees. It allows you to streamline your processes, keep employee data secure, and allow for continued growth and development of your team. Prior to using Paylocity we were handling all of our payroll through Quickbooks which worked prior to our company growth where we needed more functionality and security. As we have grown and implemented new Paylocity products our focus has been on the experience our employees have and what can be done to make things easier for them throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
