Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use Paylocity as our everyday HRIS that helps with typical HR processes from onboarding, performance, payroll, employee engagement, offboarding, recruiting, benefits, etc. We mainly have issues creating and sticking with a solid process for most of these functions in the department and Paylocity has helped not only streamline most of our everyday duties but has made things more consistent to where we can catch anything we are missing and overall make things more efficient.

It has definitely allowed the department more time to focus on things to improve company culture and engagement. Instead of more manual work going into the mundane day to day functions to keep the department running, we can put our efforts into more things that move the company forward.
We have more of an in person engagement culture however, with the surveys, when people actually do fill them out, they provide great feedback to us on what we can improve on and have helped our company make decisions on new benefits to offer, events to host, etc.

Paylocity is a good HRIS for those that would like to streamline and hold most of their processes in a single easy to use system. Its good for companies with remote employees as they can easily have control over there own information to ensure accuracy. If overall looking to move from a paper file type company to all online, this is a good system. Paylocity might not be the best for companies that have language barriers since they have limited options with this. Also, for any companies who employ a lot of people who are not used to using technology, you might be better off with a system that works more for your department instead of having a lot of features tailored to employee usage.
