Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use Paylocity for several functions within the organization: Recruiting (which is linked with our outreach platforms), Onboarding (paperless and easy!), HR & Payroll, Benefits (make open enrollment very easy and is super user friendly), limited Learning (annual training that several of our jobsites require), Performance reviews (annually to help determine bonus and performance pay), Workflows & Documents (easy to push and have employees acknowledge important documents, handbook updates, etc), and internal Surveys (did a benefit survey recently to gauge interest on upcoming training topics). I also find the Self-Service option very convenient for employees to answer most questions that they have on their own!

We don't use any time tracking as our tracking is very complex. I personally do not handle payroll (as this is an accounting task, so I can't speak to anything regarding this. While I have used other systems previously, this seems to be very user friendly, so I would think that payroll is also. Our Recruiting Coordinator does appreciate several of the features on the recruiting and onboarding sections.
I haven't yet been able to convince employees to utilize the community tool but see that several other platforms offer this feature separately. I appreciate that it is integrated in Paylocity. As an HR Manager, I appreciate being about to push out quick surveys to gauge interest on specific items (whether this be training, planning, etc). While I think the video option is a great feature, we haven't yet use that functionality either.

I think overall it is a very user friendly platform. Especially self-explanatory for occasional users. For daily users, such as myself, I appreciate the ease but wish I could more easily adjust reporting. I would also prefer that we had a designated account representative rather than calling an 800 number to be placed in a queue. I appreciate being able to empower employees to handle most items themselves though employee self-service, too.
