Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Paylocity is our system for recruitment, onboarding, employment records, payroll, benefits, time and labor, scheduling, performance, and many other reporting needs. Having one repository for employee information from recruitment to retirement has solved issues of accuracy in payroll and offers us the ability to run reports on countless scenarios. Identification and tracking of employee information is efficient and user-friendly for both the employee and the business. This system places real-time data in front of executives, leadership, managers, HR, and employees.
  • Integrates scheduling, time tracking, and payroll for spot-on accuracy in payroll budgeting.
  • The Community module allows employees from all levels to positively interact with one another which contributes to retention.
  • Paylocity gives you the ability to configure reports that are tailored to the needs of the company.
  • Paylocity integrates with our benefits providers.
  • The timekeeping module could use more flexibility for scenarios that are specific to our company.
  • Training with the implementation of modules by assigned Paylocity implementation teams needs improvement. Sometimes you get an excellent trainer and other times you do not.
  • Reduced errors in payroll. We now have real-time clock in and out for employees and the use of geofencing has greatly improved our payroll accuracy over using a less efficient system of time tracking.
  • Contribution to retention has been outstanding by using journals in performance management for touch point conversations with employees.
  • Reduced cost by integrating processes into one system over having seven different systems that did not work together.
Paylocity's automation tools have affected our business in ways we had not anticipated. With payroll, scheduling and time tracking, HR has been able to focus more on retention and has implemented some amazing new retention programs.
The peer recognition, surveys and ability to post videos to the community module have been an exciting addition to our employee interaction. Our employees enjoy using the community module as it feels like a personal social page where they can lift each other up at work. Having an understanding of each other's positions and activites in the company has been well received.

Paylocity does an excellent job of working with you on a daily basis to troubleshoot issues. Struggling to diagnose an issue with a general ledger set up was inefficient on our end. As soon as we called Paylocity service representative the situation was explained and fixed immediately.
