Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use Paylocity to run payroll and make our HR processes more streamlined and efficient. Paylocity has allowed our employees to update their information independently in the Self-Service Portal. It has also become easier for employees to access information that is important to them, such as PTO balances. With Paylocity, our team has been able to expand our HR capabilities. We have improved our Recruiting and Onboarding processes with the software as well as increased employee engagement through Rewards & Recognition.

Pros

  • The Paylocity Customer Service Team is very helpful. Whenever I call, the wait time is never long, and the representatives are very friendly and go out of their way to help.
  • Paylocity has great Self-Service features. It is very easy for our employees to update their personal information and view important information, such as checks and PTO, without having to contact HR first.
  • Paylocity is always up to date. I enjoy reading their Elevate newsletters to learn about new product features and improvements.

Cons

  • I'd like to see the Report writer features improve. While it does work, it is a little tricky to use at times and seems outdated compared to the rest of the system.
  • I'd like to see the Self-Service Customization features improve. While it has been very helpful to customize the Self-Service Portal, using the feature is a bit difficult and time-consuming.
  • It would be helpful if Paylocity allowed employees to submit their own Skills and certifications. This could help us better track our employees' wide variety of skills.
  • Reduced Errors: The Paylocity Payroll module has helped us reduce errors in our payroll processing with its built-in reports and audit features.
  • More Consistent Processes: The Recruiting module has allowed us to create a standardized recruiting process for our hiring managers. The hiring managers can now review, manage, and schedule interviews with candidates consistently and in a timely manner.
  • Better Data-Driven Decision Making: The Paylocity Data Insights Dashboard has allowed us to track important indicators such as Headcount, Growth Rate, and Labor Costs in a quick, easy-to-use process.
Paylocity's automation tools have helped us become more efficient and streamline our business processes. For example, Paylocity's new payroll feature has significantly reduced the amount of time it takes us to process payroll. Auditing automation has also allowed us to catch and fix more errors. Overall, Paylocity's automation tools have allowed us to save time and spend more time supporting our employees and their career development.
Paylocity's employee engagement tools have helped our employees better express their opinions and feel supported by the HR Team. With their feedback from Surveys, we are able to check in with employees during important times in their employment, such as 90 day check ins and Pulse surveys. By receiving employee feedback with Surveys, we can help address any employee concerns and allow them to feel supported. Using these Paylocity features have helped us gain more employee feedback and engagement than ever before.

Paylocity has been a great resource that has helped our team become more efficient and improve our HR and payroll processes. Features like the Self-Service Portal have encouraged our employees to make changes on their own and view information that's important to them in a timely manner. Our team has benefited from features like Payroll, Recruiting, and Onboarding. The Paylocity software has allowed our team to expand our capabilities and become a better HR partner for our employees.
