Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
Paylocity has modules and we can add as many as we need for our organization. The onboarding and recruiting modules make it easy to follow the entire employee life cycle. As we've grown, it has made sense to add on some more modules. We use Community+, which helps us stay connected over mulitple shifts and rotations.
Pros
- It's pretty easy to use once you learn it.
- The dynamic reports are very easy to customize.
Cons
- We have trouble with the app not being as accessible for employees. This could be an issue with employee's devices, but it does make it difficult for employees that don't have access to the desktop programs.
- The modules each opperate a little differently, as far as searches and pagination set up. For instance in Time & Labor, I can increase the amount of data that shows up, in HR & Payroll, I can see only 14 line items at a time. In the deductions screen, the pagination buttons are at the top, and in other drop downs, you can search and the pagination buttons are at the bottom of the list.
- The more robust dynamic reporting has allowed me to create reports for metrics reporting rather than manually gathering the data. This took a 4 hour task down to 10 minutes.
It has helped us stay connected across different shifts and rotations.
