Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Paylocity is used for payroll, HRIS, surveys, performance reviews, and recruiting. Paylocity feeds into our benefits software to transfer employee information and statuses.

Pros

  • Payroll is user friendly
  • Managing employee data is user friendly
  • Surveys are easy to track and view
  • Account managers are always helpful and responsive

Cons

  • PTO accruals are confusing
  • I would like to be able to set up performance reviews differently
  • Payroll is difficult
  • Switching between HR and workflows everytime i make a change to employees is time consuming
  • time off requests dont make any sense
Paylocity was already in my organization when I came here. I don't like not having the ability to change things how I need. I emailed service to ask about setting up a new workflow, and they just sent me confusing articles instead of assisting me in creating the new workflow. I have never seen a rep come to my facility, and the reps I do speak to just try to sell me stuff.

I like HR & Payroll in Paylocity because it is user friendly and easy to adjust baseed on company needs. Recruiting needs some advancements, however, this system was already set up when I came to my place of work, so it may just need some tweaks based on my personal needs and previous recruitment styles.
