Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
Since we use so many of the modules, we really use the product for almost every HR function. We use the recruiting platform for all of our job postings. I love how it's seamless with our background check. We have all of the things integrated. We use it for mileage reimbursement for expense management. We're using the product as our LMS for our trainings and all of the reporting and analytics to pull for audits and exams. And we use it to pay our employees for payroll. We use it the self-service portal. I don't even know if I mentioned that earlier. For our communications board, all of it for all things HR
Pros
- Integrate with other platforms, I think was a big weight off of my shoulder. I've worked with other products that the integration is a little bumpy and so the integration with our 401k providers or benefits providers has been particularly, I think highlighted for me with Paylocity.
Cons
- I think the learning management system is maybe provides the greatest area for growth for us and our needs and some of the abilities to create some trainings within that platform.
- We've been able because of again, the integration, been able to sunset some other products and been able to streamline through just one. And because we are a smaller company, that's honestly even less billing that I have to reconcile, which helps me and we are smaller. So being able to do everything under one umbrella has been a great value to us.
Our payroll process is very brief. The import from time and Labor works very seamlessly. We've had no issues with that. If we've had any issues at all, it's been human error and we've always been able to get someone from Paylocity on the phone to walk us through that. They've done a great job problem solving and correcting our error if that's occurred, which is very infrequent, but our payroll process is like 30 to 45 minutes and that's wonderful.
Tools to had on your community is one that has been huge for us. I came after someone who had been in my role for 51 years, so we didn't have much of a digital footprint at all. And so we're spread out across several different regions and community has provided a wonderful platform of cohesion. Because we are in the finance industry, our IT security is unlocked, so we don't allow very many platforms for instant messaging or really broadcasting messages to all employees. And we've done all kinds of culture work through community. That's been very foundational important for stepping into a new era.
