Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use it for Payroll, HR & Onboarding. We just started using onboarding several months ago and it has been pretty helpful with getting employees uploaded into the system. I do the onboarding of employees and enter their payroll. We also use for time off tracking but not health insurance or anything like that.

Pros

  • The app with the self service portal. Employees can request time off an d check stubs for themselves
  • The onboarding process
  • Very user friendly

Cons

  • Changes in the software and even though we are told, things are hard to find at times.
  • While most times service gets back to me quickly, other times it's a day or two before I hear back, not totally a bad thing as people are busy, but something to improve?
  • Having a way to make one report that will update every payroll without having to print separate reports to make the report.
  • The onboarding has helped get new employees entered to the system, when the employee does it, it's faster than the manager surprisingly.
  • The employees being able to request paperless has saved us some money on the checks being printed and delivered.
  • Definitely safer for employees' personal information by them entering it at onboarding rather than having their information in emails and files.
IDK how much they have used this feature, but I will be looking into it for morale purposes.
It's very user friendly with one exception. Sometimes things are changed often, just when you get used to the previous way.
Paylocity is better in every aspect. Ease of entering payroll, reports, service. All of it.

Ease of use. With the exception of not having one payroll report all the payroll process reports are very easy to decipher and again user friendly.
