Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

I use the system for payroll. Paylocity is very easy to use for payroll. It is simple and makes my process efficient.

Pros

  • Easy to use
  • Can usually always connect with someone quickly when calling in
  • Has the features the payroll and HR need to process paycheck and hire

Cons

  • Interface has weird times when it is too zoomed in
  • Time and Labor is good but good be better
  • Reaching someone via email sometimes takes longer than desired
  • I think we are getting a good value for what we pay. We don't need many features so we have a good price for what we have
  • We have had issues for years with points re-appearing on EE's timecards. That has negatively affected us
No one seems to take very long when they complete tasks on Paylocity so it has opened up time elsewhere.
We did not have a large participation with this so we now use Nectar.
It is good but sometimes the screen is way to zoomed in for no reason. I can click to stuff quickly but I feel like the last update (taking away EE Payroll File), has added steps to my process.
We used Paychex back when it was Preview and switched before we used Paychex Flex. So, this is really the only platform we've used.

It is well suited for someone that wants the basics for a great price. In other cases where you want a lot of features with a seamless process, it might not be the best option.
