Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

What I love best about Paylocity is the ease of the platform plus the customer service. Someone is always there to assist when I have an issue.

Pros

  • Onboarding platform makes paperwork a breeze
  • Payroll setup allows you to utilize the fields you use most
  • Customer service always responds in a timely manner

Cons

  • Spending account section is hard to navigate as an administrator
  • Time and Labor can be a bit confusing and hard to create special features
  • Holidays in time and labor could be easier to input year over year
  • Performance management has been something I've never utilized because it isn't as customizable as I'd like

Paylocity allows me to process payroll with such ease that it doesn't take me as long as it used to. I love that it brings over partial pay for new/departing employees so I won't forget. I like that I can utilize their onboarding without having to think what paperwork I need to have a new employee complete and it's really easy to update the onboarding packet when something does change.
We've utilized surveys in the past and I like that we can track what employees are saying and that I can save a template and reuse that survey to compare results year over year.
I think that the site is made so that it's easy to navigate without knowing much about the system.

I've recommended Paylocity to a lot of peers in the HR industry because I find it to be easy to navigate for everyone. I've utilized 2 other payroll providers and I can say that the platform as well as the customer service is amazing. I've utilized Paylocity in a company of 20 employees and in a company with 80 employees and it works well for those sizes.
