Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use Paylocity across the entire organization as our HRIS and payroll vendor.
- The main thing that Paylocity does well is the self-service portal for employees. It is aesthetically pleasing, easy to use and full of information for employees.
- Another thing is the "impressions" that employees can give to each other to say "job well done" for something.
- There are many areas where Paylocity can improve. Customer service is definitely one of them. They are very slow to respond, if at all. They put no sense of urgency on matters. They tell you they will find out an answer and get back to you then they don't.
- There is so much missing functionality between this system and my last (Paycor) that I can't even remember everything.
- Switching to Paylocity was the worst decision I've ever made in my career.
- Paylocity was cheaper than the vendor that I switched from, but you get what you pay for.
Now having switched to Paylocity from Paycor, I completely regret my decision and will be switching back. Unfortunately for me, the Paylocity sales team is apparently very good at their job. After switching and learning my colossal error, I told my salesperson that I felt he sold me a book with a beautiful cover and crap for contents.
