Overall Satisfaction with Polycom Trio

We use Polycom Trio units on our bigger meeting rooms to allow for a large number of users to use the video conference capabilities of the unit with clarity of audio and video. Everyone in the company uses this system and the main issue it resolves is the microphone pickup in large rooms with many people.

  • Expensive maintenance support
  • Coming form previous Polycom unit we didn't need to re-train users so that's a saving right there
  • Support required is minimal so this frees up IT resources
While Yealink was priced very competitively it couldn't math the functionality and ease of use of the Polycom units.

Yealink Conference Phones, Azure Backup, Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Microsoft Intune + SCCM)
A well known product that most users are familiar with and simple enough for new users to learn and understand.
Support is good but the price for the maintenance is pretty expensive
These units are pretty much the standard for mid to large meeting rooms and there are not may competitors that can match the quality, reliablity and ease of use of the Trio.
