Overall Satisfaction with PrinterLogic

Our IT department manages several locations and around 500 end users.We have each site listed in Vasion Print and queues/security groups. Vasion Print makes it a breeze when deploying new systems or new printers at each location. Especially when we have over 100 queues between all of our sites, printers are no longer a cumbersome device to manage.

Pros

  • Track and maintain all printers
  • Easily adjust settings and sync with clients
  • Easy deployment

Cons

  • Remote printing
  • granular security roles
  • Allows us in the IT department to focus on more important items and not be hung up with printers.
  • Has cut down on system deployment times.
  • Has cut down on new printer deployments as we can configure all settings ahead of time.
I have used Vasion Print with another company so did not waste any time testing out other solutions.

Azure environments like ours is a perfect match with Vasion Print. Sites that have onprem servers may be better suited as they can leverage print management/group policy as it can maintain printers at no additional charge. However as mentioned, hosted environments cannot easily maintain printers and PL is definitely the way to go.
