Overall Satisfaction with PrinterLogic

There were two primary missions we accomplished through the deployment of PrinterLogic:

First, we wanted to entirely eliminate the need for a Print Server--but we wanted to maintain visibility over the logging from all of our printers in a centralized way. PrinterLogic provided that--and more--in a package that was immaculately easy to swallow.

Second, we wanted to Future-Proof ourselves, particularly with workloads in setting up new years. As a smaller shop that is moving more towards medium-sized, we want to make sure we can automatically deploy printers to new users, without having to sacrifice the time of our support staff in getting them set up for all devices.
  • Ease of deployment.
  • Simplicity. The portal and end user experience just make sense.
  • Their support staff is amazing. Never once had an issue getting questions answered.
  • Remote Printing
  • Automatic Printer install, based on IP
  • Print job logging
  • Fewer Helpdesk tickets
  • Automation of onboarding tasks
  • Overall happiness of end users
The portal is simplistic, sure, but there's nothing easier to use in the world. Anyone can log into the portal and immediately understand how to access what they need. There're also about a million how-to guides available for the service, should end users need a bit of a nudge. Brilliant through and through.
As I mentioned earlier in my review, our biggest initiative was to eliminate the antiquated print server. And this did it instantly. But also, in a field where we have end users travelling back and forth between offices, the automatic printer assignment based on IP ranges is huge. I mean, game changing. Our helpdesk no longer has to respond to tickets to install printers for users as they travel.

Do you think PrinterLogic delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with PrinterLogic's feature set?

Yes

Did PrinterLogic live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of PrinterLogic go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy PrinterLogic again?

Yes

The only time I could see PrinterLogic NOT being applicable to your organization, is if you're a shop of <10 people with a singular printer. Any enterprise-level organization will find this software immensely impactful. The end users love it. Our support staff loves it. Our CFO loves how affordable it is. This is as good as it gets, folks.
