Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We manage all printers in our system with Vasion's PrinterLogic. We add the IP range, the printer information and the driver. It's great when we have to refresh a printer, after loading the new driver, Vasion's PrinterLogic will automatically update the new driver on all installed instances of the printer on all of our PCs within the hour.

If someone loads the wrong driver on a PC, Vasion's PrinterLogic will install the correct driver within the hour.
Vasion's PrinterLogic is very granular, allowing to easily find the printer by name, IP etc.
Vasion's PrinterLogic offers unlimited scalability as our hardware management duties change over the years.

Vasion's PrinterLogic can be expensive compared to other systems.

It allows us to manage hundreds of printers without constantly updating drivers, saving time and money.

Usability

Vasion's PrinterLogic has made our hardware management so much easier and saved our organization a lot of time and money. It allows us to spend more time working on customer issues, rather than working on printer issues. Vasion's PrinterLogic is the best print management system i have used to date, and plan to keep using long into the future.

Print Management Impact

Vasion's PrinterLogic has eliminated the use of print servers, helped us to keep out bad actors, and allow us to easily manage hundreds of printers across several hospital campuses and hundreds of ambulatory sites. It also allows upper management to access reports and help them with budgeting for the upcoming quarters and years.

Alternatives Considered

PaperCut

Vasion's PrinterLogic is much more granular and easy to use compared to PaperCut. You can work on a single printer without having to create printer profiles and other set up required by PaperCut. PaperCut may be cheaper, but you truly get what you pay for and there is no comparison when it comes to ease of use and uptime.

It's easy to add an IP range, the print driver and location info. The best part is, when you refresh printer hardware, the drivers automatically update on all PCs that have the printer installed. If someone installed the wrong driver on the PC, Vasion's PrinterLogic will install the correct driver within the hour. When updating a printer, its very easy to update the printer model and driver in Vasion's PrinterLogic.
