Procore Review
Overall Satisfaction with Procore
We have currently made the switch to have all of our on-going projects to ProCore. I am able to upload all coordination drawings to ProCore for any projects that I am currently working on so they have the most up to date files. We are using ProCore as a company-wide software. The business I am in focuses on the mechanical and plumbing side of commercial construction.
Pros
- Make sure everybody in the company can have the most up to date information available to them no matter where they are.
- Easier to do specialty forms for projects as the project progresses.
- Easier to share file with people.
- App for the iPhone is great.
Cons
- Takes a few minutes to train people to make sure they are using the program to its full ability.
- When you upload a large set of drawings it would be nice if there was a button to either add a revision or number for all documents instead of doing them one by one.
- When opening a folder with a lot of files in it, it take a little while to index all the files in the folder.
- Better document management.
- Better communication in the field.
- Less man hours spent on sending documents to people.
