Overall Satisfaction with Procore

My organization uses procore from start to finish on all projects, we use it to do our bidding, uploading and distributing of drawings, submittals, and RFIs. We create our job directories through it; post daily field report/logs, and progress photos through out the job. Supervisors do the progress photos, inspection, and daily logs; managers use it for minutes, sending submittals, change orders, and RFIs. Accountants use it to compare budgets and change order details. It helps greatly with the ease of communication and maintains an organized and clear procurement log.
  • Distributing information: put in the email address of the subcontractor, vendor, engineer and then add them to the distribution chain along with whoever else needs to get it and then send it out.
  • Tracking projects: it helps us get from start to finish in one place, bidding to close outs, it does it all.
  • Creates documented logs: it is great because it records everything you do, when you sent an email, who it went to, when you wrote the change order, etc., it has everything documented so if there is ever an argument on when that was released or how long it has been in someone's possession; it always has a time stamp.
  • Their infrastructure needs serious ramping up, it seems to crash a lot when too many users in one place are using it or if too many people are looking at a certain project.
  • Photos are extremely slow to upload if you do not have lightning fast WIFI which is very seldom when you are on site as a supervisor trying to upload and document site progress.
  • It takes up A LOT of storage on your cell phone. I work on many projects for my company and talk to a lot of people via procore and my usage is near 7 GB!
  • Great communication tool for everyone on projects
  • Diverse yet very simple, all levels can understand it
  • It helps with saving information and being able to shuffle from one project to another project quickly and effectively.
This is the only one I have used; I used Prolog very minimally.
I think the application has grown greatly and can be well suited in any event, it is perfect for all aspects of construction and project management especially.
