Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It is being implemented throughout on all new projects wherever possible.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Manages RFIs/Shop Drawings/Document Control.
Manages Drawings.
Sends emails automatically and manually. Tracks this interally as well.

Cons

RFIs can only be assigned to one person. you have to edit between sending to multiple people for responses.
Sometimes sends too many emails for notifications.. could be compiled when editing and changing "ball in court", etc.
Runs slow when open for too long (may be an issue with my company's server?)

Return on Investment

Hard to speak to this as I don't know how much procore costs directly vs. how much we get out of it, but generally makes workflow much more efficient.

Alternatives Considered

ONWARE

ONWARE is a headache when compared to Procore. Procore needs a little more info up front but once you get it moving it generally works like a well oiled machine.

Likelihood to Recommend

Well suited for any larger construction job. Not as feasible for smaller jobs as from what I understand it's a little pricey. Well worth the money for the average general contractor.
