Overall Satisfaction with Prophix
Prophix is used as a management reporting, forecast and budgeting system, weekly and monthly estimate financial software to maximize time and efforts in a one house stop. We use a 3rd party consultant to help with big changes in our planning templates and any major problems, which has been a big win for us. The initial process set up can be time consuming. The quick report building features can be time saving and has allowed us to create report binders which are very beneficial.

We still use excel for charting capabilities or one-off ad hoc reporting which sometimes Prophix is not great at. There are Prophix integrations with excel that you can use for Analyzer or Contributor, but our organization has not used them and they do not seem very straightforward after doing research into these features.
I was not apart of the Prophix selection process or the initial implementation. Prophix has been a good tool for us to expand upon and grow and innovate with all of our enhancements. I have not used any other tools like Prophix, but it does have a lot of good features and efficiencies which we optimize and able to save us time.
