Overall Satisfaction with Qlik Sense

Qlik Sense is primarily used in our Sales and Marketing department through visualizations to gain insight into the distribution of our product throughout the country. It is slowly being expanded to other functional areas with current development taking place of our Finance and Production units for the purpose of gauging efficiency within their operations.
  • QS has extensive options to connect to various data sources
  • We use the scheduler to keep our data updated, we set it up once and it's done
  • Of course, the visualizations and relationships between Sheets tell more of a story than rows and columns of data
  • It's such a mission getting to access Qlik Sense outside of the office network without having to rely on VPNs.
  • Support from distributors/ resellers, particularly in Zambia, is non-existent.
  • It sometimes gives random errors where the browser cannot connect to the App. This is more frequent in Microsoft Edge.
  • Our Regional Sales Team is able to decisively challenge stock distributors on requested orders because they have insight into previous patterns.
  • We have had an improvement in the amount of sales returns of approximately 2% through effective distribution.
  • There is a 40% increase in the alignment of performance objectives to targets' completion due to improved BI.
Our utilization of Crystal Reports is unique in that reports are published directly to our ERP, allowing users to access the information within a common singular interface, which gives the edge of convenience.
Compared to Qlik Sense though, these reports are Static in nature, without the option to view the data from multiple facets, which is what we get with QS. The products complement each other.
Qlik Sense is great for analyzing sales movements, both in quantity and money value. We have had issues with getting the Map functionality to display the kind of information we're trying to get out of it. Stacked bar graphs also don't seem to present very well in Qlik Sense for quantifying the stacked sections.
