Overall Satisfaction with Quick Base

We have set up one app in Quick Base to manage our preconstruction process. The other app we setup is for timekeeping that auto feeds job cost. We are looking to expand our use greatly in the next 1 to 6 months with a custom CRM and more.
  • Customization
  • Ease of use
  • Flexibility
  • User management
  • Third party promotion and purchase of apps.
  • Mobile phone usage works but needs improvement.
Yes, absolutely cheap timekeeping app that was easy to build. Can be customized on the fly as we change and adapt to the economic environment. Can integrate with other things and we are working on that now.
I have used MS Access and other database products. Quick Base is about 75% where it needs to be. I believe 3rd party integration could be done better and if I ran this company I know I could blow the socks off their sales.
  • Building and deploying business applications faster
  • Improving our ability to drive insights from our data
  • Improving collaboration across one or more teams
  • Solving a specific business challenge
  • Building and deploying an application (or multiple applications) that meets our exact needs
We could not find a solution for timekeeping. Nothing that fit exactly what we wanted. It only took a few weeks and we were up and running. We still can tweak how we want and add features. Pretty cool.
Working on that now. I am partnering with 3rd parties to enhance our platform and add to it. The user group forum is pretty rich and I have found a lot of companies to help.
It's like Access database in the cloud on steroids with way more features and ease of use. It can also be more complex at the same time. It depends on how well you know database management and reporting.

We reviewed it but we did not go forward. It was doable but we decided to head a different direction. If I had my way I would have went with this option. QuickBase is awesome. Just not right timing for our company.
I know its capable but we did not do anything with this.
