Overall Satisfaction with QuickBase

QuickBase is utilized as the sole tracking source for large scale and small scale wireless construction project metrics and milestones. It's also utilized to manage workflow, establish project forecasting activities, warranties, inventory, and generally promote a collaborative input environment across a diverse geographical and involvement level workforce.
  • Intuitive and adaptable interface. Little to no need for programming or IT level inputs to make form or formula changes.
  • Customer support via the ticketing system and database. If there is an issue or assistance that is needed the online database of common problems is extensive. If the answer to your query cannot be found then a representative is only an email away with the ticket system and response time is usually same day if not immediate.
  • Adaptable to scale. Quickbase makes it very efficient to scale the user count and roles as your business needs change over time.
  • Formulas. There is currently no Quickbase ability to return results of a query of table data where the field is blank (null) without an extensive and troublesome workaround.
  • When creating filters to sort and manage data there is no Quickbase ability to filter based on if a particular field or fields are blank. This significantly hinders the efficiency of formulas and filters. If I could change one item and only one item with Quickbase this would be it and in my opinion Quickbase completely falls flat in this area due to the missing of this basic functionality.
Yes, we have achieved this by utilizing Quickbase instead of collaborative excel sheets.
Minimal technical know how is needed. Once a person starts to build an app the ability to grow that app to a more complex environment is intuitive based on the basic skill sets learned.
  • Building and deploying business applications faster
  • Improving our ability to drive insights from our data
  • Improving collaboration across one or more teams
  • Solving a specific business challenge
  • Building and deploying an application (or multiple applications) that meets our exact needs
I have never done this. After reviewing extensively the existing Quickbase apps I found that none had the complexity to perform the needed functions of my business and its intricacies. I decided that the best path to take would be to build my own app from scratch, which I did and I have no computer or programming experience in my background.
Well Suited = Construction management.
Less Appropriate = Ability to house an app that can track inventory efficiently.
