Overall Satisfaction with QuickBase
Our company currently utilizes Quickbase primarily as a testing compliance and reporting platform. We use it to maintain our control environment, conclude on testing of controls, and obtain management certifications.
- Easy to use interface for limited users
- Highly customizable for creating new applications
- Good structure for provisioning different groups of users
- Limited pricing structure flexibility (based purely on # of users, without consideration of type of user or amount of overall space used by applications)
We have achieved that benefit for our department; however, we have not partnered with other departments within the company since we want to limit administrative access and ownership roles within the application.
- Tableau and Teammate
Quickbase has met our needs from a software perspective, and I have been able to navigate and learn the software effectively. Customer support is very responsive and helpful with issues encountered.
As stated previously, the biggest concern is regarding the pricing structure not aligning with our use of the tool.

Difficulty level is moderate; technical literacy and a knowledge of good platform building practice and user access considerations is necessary. But with this basic foundation, no direct coding experience is required.
- Improving our ability to drive insights from our data
- Improving collaboration across one or more teams
- Solving a specific business challenge
- Building and deploying an application (or multiple applications) that meets our exact needs
We regularly update applications related to governance for changes in the company and to emphasize areas of focus. I have been able to build a strong knowledge of the system through experience; however, disseminating this information throughout the organization can be challenging. Partnering with organizations to build tutorials for end-users could ease the administrative burden of familiarizing new users with the system.
