Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Online

QBO is a great solution for many of my small business clients looking for an affordable cloud based accounting software solution. Most employees at our firm have worked with or are currently working with QBO with their clients too.
  • Automated invoicing - You can schedule invoices to be emailed automatically to customers.
  • Online Banking - The online banking automatically downloads transactions to QBO and posting the transactions to the appropriate accounts is easier than the desktop versions.
  • Work with Multiple windows while working in QBO - Unlike the desktop versions, if you have multiple monitors, you can open several windows to perform different types of tasks.
  • There is a great need for job costing functionality
  • There is a great need for greater inventory functionality
  • All reports in the old version of QBO needs to be made available in the new QBO interface
  • The improvements to QBO has resulted in my desire to increase my knowledge of the product. As a result I have been recommending it more to my clients.
  • I now have access to my clients data, saving a lot of the administrative time of transferring files back and forth
  • QBO client training is much easier since I no longer have to train on site
I have used Intuit products since I have started in my field of accounting. QBO features has increased greatly. I don't know of another accounting software that can currently compare QBO to.
I love the product, but of course there is still much Intuit needs to do to be able to meet the needs of most of my clients.
Do you need job costing? Do you need to track inventory? How extensive are your inventory tracking needs? Do you have several users, if so, what rights do they need?
