Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Online
I currently use QuickBooks Online for my small business, Bayou BI, LLC. It addresses our accounting and invoicing needs very well and allows our accounting firm remote access. The remote access by our accounting firm is one of the best features of this product because all our work with them can be accomplished electronically.
- Automated bank balances and transaction downloads
- Free access for accountants
- Ease of invoicing
- Matching bank transactions to open invoices that don't match exactly in value is not straightforward for the non-accountant.
- As a consulting firm, billing is our business and QuickBooks online makes invoicing easy and efficient. Monthly billing is a breeze.
- By partnering with our CPA firm we received a discounted rate for the software which made it very affordable while getting our small business off the ground.
I have used the on premises version of QuickBooks many years ago and have also supported larger systems such as Infinium and Microsoft Dynamics GP. QuickBooks has many of the same accounting features as the larger products at a much more affordable price. I selected QuickBooks Online based on my past experience with QuickBooks, the recommendation of my CPA, and the remote access features it offers. It more than meets the needs of my small business and I feel it will grow with us over time.
