Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Online

Pros.

QuickBooks is being used to import all kinds of accounts in our firm, from AAA to IRA accounts.

There is great support from third parties that makes it more simple to use and communicate the accounting records, especially with the transactions.


Cons.

When you are trying to import accounts from an outside account, it does take a very long time to load. It will sometimes time out and you do have to re import your accounts, I have had the accounts pull through but then my transactions would not match, or sometimes they would not be there at all.


  • QuickBooks is easily managed and easy to use.
  • QuickBooks is a simple layout design, easy to use and understand.
  • QuickBooks is a wonderful software.
  • Importing documents, sometimes it will not import the transactions correctly.
  • I believe they should have a online chat with a tech, the call times are outrageous to reach a live person.
  • When you call for assistance the call will get routed to another department and they will end up transferring your call again and again to reach the department.
  • Sometimes the hold is over a hour trying to reach the right department.
  • Between QuickBooks and your bank is a real time feed, but when you have pending activity in your bank account it will not show correctly in your QuickBooks.
  • On QuickBooks the balance in your register is correct, but when you do write a check from the checkbook it will deduct the amount in the balance of the register, even if the check has not been cashed on the other side, it will also cause your bank balance to change.
With QuickBooks, it is a simple design easy to manage. With some clients it is almost too simple, I suppose. Most of them do not know how to import their documents.

Sometimes the documents that are imported do not update as they should or, shall I say, update enough. It will not pull in all the information and you will likely have to do a manual update.

The time frame of getting someone on the phone it has taken me at least thirty minutes.

Yes, I called and of course had to hold for the next person, but once they got on the phone they listened to me.
Then they came back a few moments later with a way to assist, and it worked great.
Fixed my problem within about 10 minutes.
