Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Online

Quickbooks is currently being used in my business daily. We use it for consolidating our bank accounts and running profit/loss reports in the company as well as sending out invoices to vendors. We use quickbooks in our accounting department primarily. It solves many organization issues we were previously having in the business.

Pros

  • Ease-of-use. The software is very user-friendly and simple to figure out.
  • Accessibility. Quickbooks online can be accessed anywhere in the world where there is internet.
  • Options. Quickbooks online has several options to customize your experience. More than most will ever need or use!

Cons

  • The customer service is limited and is pretty "salesy". They re-direct you to emails and online forums for help
  • Some of the apps that "sync" with quickbooks are not very good. There are often glitches between the two applications.
  • Has a positive ROI of capturing maximum write-offs and deductions for taxes
  • Has a negative ROI if you could use an excel tracking sheet for your business profit/loss
QuickBooks Pro was overpriced and limited to one computer at a time. Quickbooks online is a far better option for most individuals. It can be accessed from any computer, anywhere, anytime and doesn't need to be "upgraded" every year. Plus there are usually promos for monthly subscriptions in year 1 and 2.
Quickbooks is suited for any business. Literally, any time you need to track profit, loss, write-offs, deductions ect. I have not found a better software to use. If you don't have a need to stay organized or would rather save a few dollars and use an excel sheet to track your finances, that may be a better option for you.
