Overall Satisfaction with Raiser's Edge NXT

The major gift officers in our foundation use NXT to steward donors. We are looking for NXT to provide us with on-the-go support for our MGOs.
  • Provides on-the-go support for our MGOs.
  • Easy-to-read format.
  • Lots of detailed information about each prospect.
  • Missing functionality with constituent edits.
  • Missing functionality to be able to add a constituent.
  • Some of the graphs and totals are confusing and/or misleading.
  • Operational Efficiency
  • Increased revenue from new donors
  • Increased revenue from existing donors
  • Reduced IT expenditure due to cloud deployment
  • Increased scalability due to cloud deployment
Not yet. There are still bits of NXT that we either can't use or don't trust, and so we're not using it to what we hope will be its highest potential.
There are a great deal of varied products from Blackbaud, and it can sometimes be overwhelming finding what the right fit is. It also seems that there are always new products rolling out, and older products don't get as much support, and shifting between products can be frustrating.
For now, we've committed to staying with Blackbaud, but we'd like to see NXT be more usable for us.
It's great for our MGOs, but for data entry, acknowledgement, reporting, etc., several of our staff are still in the database view for the foreseeable future. I've been disappointed by the media in RE vs. attachments in NXT disconnect, and by the inability to add or edit constituents in NXT but we're trying to remain hopeful.
