Overall Satisfaction with Raiser's Edge NXT

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We implemented RE's NXT when we converted our existing database to RE. Currently, I am the only individual using NXT. I use it for development purposes ... particularly portfolio management. I appreciate not having to get into the database to find what I'm looking for.

Operational Efficiency
Increased revenue from new donors
Increased revenue from existing donors

We have only been using NXT for about 6 months, but I do believe it has made me a most efficient fund raiser and the increased revenue will come.

Impact of Working with Vendor

We only have RE and RE NXT. Our Chief Financial Officer has looked at Financial Edge and will consider it again down the road. For the time being, as a not-for-profit, we cannot afford to bring on Financial Edge. We have been taking advantage of the training and training resources and feel the breadth and depth of information are beneficial.

Likelihood to Recommend

Any organization looking to increase their efficiency in fundraising should take a look at Raiser's Edge NXT. In particular, relational fundraising can be enhanced with NXT. Those organizations that focus mostly on transactional fundraising would likely get by with the database view only.
