Overall Satisfaction with RedCarpet
We use RedCarpet across the organization for New Hire Onboarding. Each departmental Administrative Assistant is entered as an BOC Business Onboarding Coordinator for their business group. Since the system was implemented it has addressed standardizaton and timeliness in how we onboard new employees. We all do it the same way and use the same systems as directed in RedCarpet. The tracked and dated tasks are listed along with links to the proper system to use for that task ie... order computer.
- All required tasks are listed with due dates to promote timeliness.
- System sends periodic emails to remind you of status changes, such as new employee added, tasks are due or overdue, notes from other users.
- New employees can do tasks prehire from home to reduce the amount of paperwork/training to do once they arrive.
- I have seen when a task is listed twice with different dates. System didn't recoginze the duplicate and still notified you to do the task even though you have signed it off previously.
- When listing employees it always lists starting with the oldest. I always have to reverse the sort order. I would prefer the newest to show first since they are the ones I am currently working on.
- I do not work in Corp HR so I do not know about ROI. As a user, RedCarpet as greatly improved my customer service. I don't have to wait for the manager to notifiy me of new employee prearrival, I get this from HR via RedCarpet around 30 days prior to the employee coming so I have plenty of time to prepare for them.
I am not a part of the selection process and have only used RedCarpet.
