Overall Satisfaction with Revit

  • We use it to analyze how buildings will perform before construction begins, develop better quality designs, and improve project delivery.
  • It helps us understand the complex design and construction process. With the help of Revit we are able to understand the complexity of our construction design.
  • This software is only used by our engineering design group.
    With the help of Revit we are able to do our planning process faster, and we can design and understand different future aspects which will appear during the construction period.

Cons

  • Very costly
  • It requires trained people to use this software.
  • In the beginning, we thought it was costing so much money to us, but after few years we realize it helps us save so much time and money.
  • There is no negative impact.
Autodesk has a really huge open community which help us to understand the software features. Their customer service is very good, and they even help us through social media. During the beginning they provided us many tutorials videos to help us understand its different features. They are constantly improving their services and they really listen to our feedback.

  • For example, before this software, we could only imagine the building design on paper. Now, with the help of this beautiful software we are able to visualize building design before it's built.
  • I remember when me and my team were working on our first project before this software. Our faulty design cost us extra money. After that, we adopted the use of Revit, and we can now analyze our design before we even start our construction.
  • It allow complex building structures to be accurately designed and documented in a short amount of time which helps us save so much money.
