Overall Satisfaction with RingCentral Meetings

We utilize RingCentral for our phone and ACD platform, and RingCentral Meetings is used across the organization for many types of meetings. It integrates with the accounts/systems we already have set up for our users in RingCentral and allows all users to participate in phone, video, or screenshare meetings.
  • Familiarity - it's Zoom with a different wrapping.
  • Integration with phone system.
  • Built-in ability to dial in from a phone.
  • RingCentral as a platform has some branding issues/marketing confusion between Meetings, Phone, Nice, InContact back-end, etc.
  • Meeting invites have a lot of numbers which can be used, but it becomes noise.
  • RingCentral Meetings is a Video Conference platform on top of a Phone/VoIP system, so it's unclear to users when to use Conference calls, phone calls, or Meetings.
  • RingCentral Meetings offers a consolidated place for video conferencing, alongside the VoIP platform
RingCentral Meetings is Zoom, in a RingCentral package. If you're familiar with Zoom, then you're familiar with RingCentral Meetings.

Microsoft Teams has made a lot of improvements, and with the chat/team integration and tight integration with Office 365, it really is the best platform for any professional conversations and video conferencing.

Do you think RingCentral Meetings delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with RingCentral Meetings's feature set?

Yes

Did RingCentral Meetings live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of RingCentral Meetings go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy RingCentral Meetings again?

No

RingCentral is accessible because it uses Zoom, and most users are familiar with Zoom basics.
I have not interacted with RingCentral Meetings support. I have interacted with the RingCentral backend and the admin console seems very robust. That is more of a commentary on RingCentral as a VoIP platform and less the Meetings portion of the suite. I don't know how to rank this since I haven't interacted with support.
If you're in a company [that] is heavily invested in Nice/InContact/RingCentral already, this is an easy addition for video conferencing. It's Zoom in a RingCentral wrapping, so it should be familiar to most users who were on a computer in 2020.

RingCentral has the ability for text/chat, ACD systems, Meetings, etc. so it's very full-featured, but for a company utilizing Office 365, Teams is a better option for most of these things. What RingCentral Meetings does better than Teams is that it has call-in options built in, whereas you have to add these to Teams via Office 365 administration.
