Overall Satisfaction with Rubrik
We use it as a backup tool to implement backups on Cloud and Databases. It is quite efficient as compared to products like Avamar and NetBackup. It has a lot of backup frequency and we can use SLA domains to implement backup and retention based on the business requirement. Also, Rubrik does offer a consistent backup of cloud products.
- Has a Hype-converged Infrastructure support.
- Has wide range of backup capability that includes VM's, SQL, Servers, Storage.
- Can be integrated with VM conversion from .vmdk to .vhd
- They can integrate their software with other vendors including NetApp, Oracle, IBM.
- They should certainly improve there bootstrap time for rebooting the Rubrik Brik.
- They should work on the uptime of the backups frequency.
- Impact on business is positive
- We have bought 15 bricks till now. And it is turning out to be a good decision.
- Vendor support is very very impressive.
Well, the software is the same in all. But what Rubrik offers is way better and different from these products. There are a lot of options and capability features which are offered by Rubrik such as Live recovery which we have implemented recently on a NAS share and it has turned out to be very useful for us to recover files on the share.
