Overall Satisfaction with Rubrik
We did a 90 day POC with Rubik. We tested virtual machine backups from VMware, SQL agent and the physical Linux agent. We used it to backup test and production systems. We tested the recovery of while virtual machines, individual files and instant clones.

I think it is a fine product, but in the end we choose Cohesity. I think Rubrik is very close to Cohesity and beats CommVault and Veeam for virtualized backups. If you need SAN based backup, then choose CommVault (its just so dang complex). If you are only backing up one site and replicating, Veeam is not bad (It gets expensive when adding dedupe storage and licensing both sides. Cohesity is my choice for easy, fast, secure, cloud aware and intuative backup/restores. Rubrik is just slightly second place to Cohesity.
