Overall Satisfaction with RUN Powered by ADP®

Have not used this function yet, but do plan on creating our employee handbook for 2026.
We use RUN Powered by ADP® for part time employee payroll.

Pros

  • User friendly
  • Easy to find categories
  • Simple process

Cons

  • Additional features for comments tagged to tips
  • Line item list for tips so employees know where the bulk of tips come from
  • We lost several employees in the rollover to RUN Powered by ADP® as they already used the app at their full time job and could not receive auto notifications from both as they cannot be signed in to both at the same time. Support tried to help, but this went beyond the function of the system and there just was not an option/answer to be found. We were just told they need to log in with their credentials for our company which conflicts what they need to do with their full time job elsewhere.
  • The i-9 process still seems vague and I am doing what I have in the past by keeping documents. I would love to know if this process is simplified and done online during the onboarding process so we can minimize documents on site.
We look forward to seeing the benefits this coming Year End cycle as we recently transferred to RUN Powered by ADP®.
We do use the app, but are still new and have no insights at this point.
I have not used the app for payroll yet.
The boss made the decision and I think it was to integrate the scheduling with the payroll function.

Yes

Employees would like to know where their tips (large events) came from and how much at each event. It helps in their decision to take future Open Shifts. I would also love to see an option to send text messages out from the Open Shifts to reduce/make efficient the communication process. And making notifications not optional when employees onboard.
