Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Sage Intacct is our accounting system for the company. We use it to manage accounting functions, projects, and time entry. Because we use the project modules, we are able to manage the financials of delivering value in an integrated, easy to operate, platform. It also provides the visibility of financials.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Time Entry. Intacct allows us to track how employees are spending time on different aspects of our business.
Projects. We are able to create projects easily in Intacct and track financial progress.

Cons

Reporting. While we get the financial visibility we need, the reporting and dashboards can be improved. We currently use third-party platforms for reporting and visualizations.
Mobile. Having a better interface for entering and managing time on mobile devices would make it easier for our employees to enter the time when they don't have access to a full browser.

Return on Investment

We are able to utilize Intacct's API to export data for your reporting and visualizations. This allows us to manage project financials, time entry performance, and employee utilization.

Ease of Integration

We are using a third-party plugin that allows us to automate payables. The plugin easily integrated with Intacct.

Alternatives Considered

Microsoft Dynamics SL

Intacct's out of the box functionality as a SaaS platform allowed us to standardize accounting processes while providing enough configurations to match core business workflows.

Likelihood to Recommend

The capabilities of Intacct are great and cover the whole spectrum of what we need. One of the considerations for recommending is understanding when accounting/finance starts and ends and what do you want Intacct to manage.
