Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Our company has rather complex accounting for our costs and receipts, because of our multiple entities. We found Intacct to be useful because it passes the criteria that is required by our compliance rules for our industry, and our CPA firm can also log on and use our data for tax reporting.
- Being web-based, multiple users can log in and complete transactions from any location
- We are able to split expenses among multiple entities, and then roll-up to the parent company
- It passes the necessary privacy and compliance requirements for FINRA
- We would like to be able to customize more fields
- We would like to be able to make adjustments to the field names without needing to use a programmer
- The Projects module was necessary for our business, but it has several limitations
We use these features daily.
We also use these for our multiple entity organization. However, we are using terms that don't accurately describe how our company is organized (i.e., we use the feature "location" to describe the different funds that we are passing along expenses to. We are told that this cannot be altered.
