Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Currently the full functionality of Sage Intacct is being used by the entire Finance and Accounting Team. Our Project Management Org (PMO) also uses the project module. The entire company (all departments) utilize the timesheet and expense module.
- Reporting - easy to use and schedule to be sent out automatically
- Robust knowledge center and active community
- Responsive support team
- Easy to set up recurring transactions
- Merging fields that make sense (ex. Sales orders to invoices- all fields should carry over.
- Allow edit of objects to make them required without a smart rule
- Provide detailed case examples of smart rules and events that are accountant-friendly.
- Phone App for timesheets!
- As we get more familiar with the system it is becoming more insightful and allows the company to make data-driven decisions
Focusing on the core subscription - it's very limited and it leaves something to be desired in terms of automation. There are other modules that are expensive but are said to improve automation and efficiency. The only piece of core subscription that allows automation really is the reporting module and recurring journal entries.
They seem to have similar capabilities.
