Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Sage Intacct is used by my organization's accounting team to manage general ledgers, accounts payable, accounts receivable, as well as other functions. It is the main piece of accounting software we use for most things. We also use it to keep a database of company shareholders to facilitate easier dividends disbursement.
- The interface is very intuitive and easy to pick up even for someone inexperienced with accounting software.
- There's a wealth of documentation and lessons that new users can use to get up to speed quickly.
- It is possible to generate many kinds of reports that help with processes and general upkeep.
- More streamlined data entry; there's always room for improvement but I'd particularly like to see more capability for keyboard-only data input.
- More fine-tuned filtering options for custom views and reports.
- More customizability at the user level to improve efficiency.
- Sage Intacct allows us to easily comply with important, and potentially very costly, tax requirements like 1099s.
Do you think Sage Intacct delivers good value for the price?

- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly Dynamics NAV)
Sage Intacct is far more accessible than the iteration of Microsoft Dynamics NAV I used in a previous job. The interface and documentation of Intacct is far quicker to pick up than NAV. Sage Intacct also has many add-ins that increase the functionality of their product without needing to implement a new piece of software.
