Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

Sage Intacct is used by my organization's accounting team to manage general ledgers, accounts payable, accounts receivable, as well as other functions. It is the main piece of accounting software we use for most things. We also use it to keep a database of company shareholders to facilitate easier dividends disbursement.
  • The interface is very intuitive and easy to pick up even for someone inexperienced with accounting software.
  • There's a wealth of documentation and lessons that new users can use to get up to speed quickly.
  • It is possible to generate many kinds of reports that help with processes and general upkeep.
  • More streamlined data entry; there's always room for improvement but I'd particularly like to see more capability for keyboard-only data input.
  • More fine-tuned filtering options for custom views and reports.
  • More customizability at the user level to improve efficiency.
  • Sage Intacct allows us to easily comply with important, and potentially very costly, tax requirements like 1099s.
The user interface is intuitive and easy to read; things are laid out logically and consistently. Users with limited computer experience should be able to pick Sage Intacct up and learn it without too much trouble. Data entry (the bulk of my job) is very streamlined and should help users get into a flow.
Sage provide a lot of documentation and lessons for their software. They also regularly update Intacct with new features, which increases the value and potential of the software greatly.

Do you think Sage Intacct delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Sage Intacct's feature set?

Yes

Did Sage Intacct live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Sage Intacct go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Sage Intacct again?

Yes

Sage Intacct is far more accessible than the iteration of Microsoft Dynamics NAV I used in a previous job. The interface and documentation of Intacct is far quicker to pick up than NAV. Sage Intacct also has many add-ins that increase the functionality of their product without needing to implement a new piece of software.
Sage Intacct is the best accounting software I've used in my short career. The interface is user-friendly and helps keep things from becoming too intimidating for someone new to the job. I believe even non-accounting personnel can pick up Sage Intacct easily, and the online nature of the software lets them use it anywhere.
