Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

We purchased Sage Intacct in order to combine our company accounting records. We have two locations and were previously using two separate QuickBooks instances.

Pros

  • Accessibility.
  • Ease of use in the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable modules.
  • Insight into financials.

Cons

  • I wish there were more reports out of the box. Coming from QuickBooks, their reporting had much more out of the box.
  • Creating reports takes some learning.
  • We unfortunately lost a member of our team last year due to her moving states. We have been able to absorb her duties due to the implementation of Sage Intacct, which is cost effective.
Everything works great but we do still struggle with reporting and dashboards.
They help us in a timely manner when we have questions.

We have not yet implemented the automation.
Sage Intacct implementation and product was much better than Financial Force Accounting for us. We had to cancel our implementation of FFA due to it not having what we needed.
I love that we can access Sage Intacct from anywhere. This is especially important during the pandemic. We do not have to spend a lot of time waiting on a slow VPN connection to do our day-to-day accounting tasks. Everything is right there when we need it. Our CEO can also login at any time to look into any questions she has.
